Weekly Market Update: Still in an uptrend

Stocks were down for the week, however, the major indexes are still above their 30 week moving average.


Of interest this week: 

• Tesla revealed a new electric semi-truck. 
• BitCoin is at the $8,000 mark. 
• Market Sentiment is blah. 
• Mushrooms are full of antioxidants - eat 5 a day! or you can try drinking them!

Weekly Stock Market Update: A Wee Bit of Clouds

This week 2 of the indicators flickered into red territory: the Dow and the NYSE both finished down for the week. The NYSE 52 week high/low differential has been negative for the last 5 weeks, albeit not by much. The NYSE advance-decline has been down the last 3 weeks. All other indicators are still in the green.

This week's tidbits:

• CNN's Fear and Greed indicator moved into neutral for the first time a long while. 
• The BitCoin hardfork is canceled apparently due to controversy. For more read the bitcoin.com story.

The market continues to rise. It has been so steady it's boring.
